SAM Electronics United Kingdom to be named L-3 Offshore

HAMBURG, 28 January 2008 - SAM Electronics, an L-3 Communications
company announced today that effective January 5, 2009
SAM Electronics United Kingdom has been renamed L-3 Offshore
Limited. The complete range of products and services provided by
SAM Electronics United Kingdom Limited remains unchanged. All other
locations remain unchanged as well as telephone numbers and delivery
addresses.

James Gibson has built a solid reputation during his time with
SAM Electronics United Kingdom and remains as managing director in
the renamed company.

The change is part of L-3 Communications’ strategy to expand and
strengthen the company’s position in the commercial marine market. The
other market segments of the company remain unchanged especially
sales and support of SAM Electronics products and services.
