SAM Electronics at Europort Istanbul 2009

Hamburg, 25 February 2009 - SAM Electronics, an L-3 Communications

Lyngsø Marine will exhibit a wide range of solutions at this year's Europort
Istanbul 2009. On its show location in Hall 10 Stand H12, SAM will display
its type-approved new generation Multipilot 1100 multifunctional navigation
system combining ARPA radar, ECDIS, conning and automatic steering
control functions.

Available as desktop or console versions and combining navigation and
collision avoidance operations within a single workstation, Multipilot 1100
provides a correlated view of planned and real situations for improved
effectiveness and safety of all navigational tasks. Systems typically also
form an integral part of SAM’s established series of NACOS integrated
naviga-tion command systems featuring radar-controlled track-keeping.

Also featured will be the similarly type-approved Chartpilot 1100 ECDIS
system developed for planning, navigation monitoring and conning station
operations and designed for either desktop or console mounting.

Automation exhibits include the MCS 2200 integrated control assembly with
newly-developed standardised modular workstations providing rapid
acquisition, processing and display of data while also extending and
simplifying all main ship operating functions.

Multipilot, Chartpilot and Automation exhibits are housed in award-winning design consoles.
